Social Ecological Approach to Sexting Behaviour

Objective − The aim of this paper was to collect and summarize findings regarding the factors associated with sexting experiences their correlates, under Bronfenbrenner’s socio-ecological theory. Methods We reviewed literature in field show how numerous that have been found influence behaviour can be included within a social-ecological framework. Electronic searches were conducted between May June 2021 following databases: EbscoHOST (PsycINFO, PSychArticles), ERIC, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, ScienceDirect, SCOPUS, Web Science. Conclusion This model seems good framework for systematizing results research area, used as guide future on sexting. encourage researchers expand or redefine proposed determinants theoretically more satisfactory way, well explore it empirically. To help youth avoid negative consequences engaging potentially harmful behaviours, multiple systems surround young people should work together provide skills necessary make choices about sexual behaviours.
